These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Couch Crew™ ("we", "us", "our") governing your use of the Couch Crew: Games mobile application (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If your country sets a higher minimum age for using online services or for consenting to the processing of your personal data (for example, some EU member states set this at 14, 15, or 16), you must meet that higher age, or use the App only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the App only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. You must not use the App if you are barred from doing so under applicable law.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@couchcrewgames.app if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
You agree to provide accurate information when you sign up and to keep it up to date.
By creating an account, you confirm you have read and agree to these Terms of Service, including the User Content rules in Section 4. You acknowledge that we have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour, and that violating accounts may be suspended or terminated without notice.
The App offers an optional auto-renewing subscription, "Couch Crew Pro", in monthly and yearly plans. Current pricing is shown in the App at the point of purchase.
Payment, renewal and cancellation (App Store). Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged the renewal price within 24 hours of the period ending. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on iPhone). Deleting the App does not cancel the subscription.
Free trials and introductory offers. If we offer a free trial or introductory price, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Refunds. Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases. Submit refund requests at reportaproblem.apple.com.
The App may offer optional one-time purchases that allow you to support the developer. These are consumable in-app purchases. They unlock no additional features and are non-refundable except as required by law.
We may change prices for new or renewed subscriptions. Where required by Apple's rules and applicable law, we will notify you in advance and obtain your consent before charging a higher price.
"User Content" means any content you create, post, or share through the App, including reviews, ratings, recommendations, guides, profile names, avatars, and favourite quotes.
You are solely responsible for your User Content and for any consequences of posting it. You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to your User Content and that it does not violate these Terms or any law.
You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute your User Content solely for the purpose of operating, improving, and providing the App. You retain ownership of your User Content.
You agree not to post User Content that:
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. We have the right (but not the obligation) to review, refuse, or remove any User Content at our sole discretion. We use automated word-list filtering on user handles, profile quotes, reviews, and guides to block known offensive terms, and we act on user reports. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
You can report abusive content or users from inside the App (tap the "Report" or "Block" option on any user profile or piece of content), or by emailing hello@couchcrewgames.app. We will review every report and remove violating content within 24 hours, and where appropriate eject the user who provided the offending content.
You can block any user from inside the App. Blocking instantly hides all of their content from your feeds, prevents them from sending you recommendations or friend requests, and notifies us so we can review their account.

The App displays video-game metadata sourced from third parties — primarily IGDB (Internet Game Database), operated by Twitch Interactive Inc. Cover art, screenshots, summaries, release dates, ratings, platforms, and related metadata are licensed from IGDB and remain the property of their respective rights holders. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content or links. Use of those services is governed by their own terms (see igdb.com/api).
The App is not endorsed or certified by IGDB, Twitch, Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Valve, Steam, Epic Games, any game publisher, or any storefront.
The App — including its software, design, original artwork, written content, and the audio/visual elements we create — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the App for your own non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
"Couch Crew", "Couch Crew: Games", the Couch Crew name, the Couch Crew logo (the couch with controller), the tagline "Track games across every platform. Rate, review, and share with your squad.", and any related word marks, design marks, slogans, and product names are trademarks of Couch Crew (whether registered or unregistered). All rights are reserved. You may not copy, imitate, modify, register, or use any of our trademarks — or any marks that are confusingly similar to ours — in any product, service, advertising, branding, domain name, social media handle, or other commercial use, without our prior written permission.
Nominative reference to our marks — for example, referring to the App by name in news articles, reviews, comparisons, or interoperable software — is permitted to the extent allowed by law, but you must not imply that we sponsor, endorse, or are affiliated with you or your work.
Game titles, cover art, screenshots, descriptions, scores, ratings, console logos, and other metadata accessed through the App remain the property of their respective rights holders (game developers, publishers, platform holders, and IGDB's contributors). We display this content under license from our data provider IGDB and on the basis of nominative fair use; we do not claim ownership of any third-party content.
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we believe in good faith that doing so is necessary to protect us, other users, or third parties.
On termination, your license to use the App ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 4.3, 7, 9, 10, 11, and 12) will survive.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT THIRD-PARTY DATA (INCLUDING RATINGS, PLATFORM AVAILABILITY, OR RELEASE DATES) WILL BE ACCURATE OR UP TO DATE.
Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above may not apply to you.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) USD $50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence).
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the App, or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The courts located in New South Wales, Australia will have exclusive jurisdiction, except that you may bring claims in your local small-claims court where permitted.
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, this clause does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and us, not Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation.
Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the App or by email at least 7 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the App after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
